Therapists

Tania Domingues, M.A., CCC-SLP

Tania Domingues is a New Jersey State licensed, ASHA certified, and PROMPT trained Speech-Language Pathologist. Tania graduated from Kean University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she attended Long Island University – C.W. Post Campus, where she received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is a bilingual therapist (English/Portuguese). She has experience working with toddler to school-aged children in school settings and outpatient pediatric therapy facilities. In these settings, Tania has conducted evaluations and implemented therapy for children presenting with expressive and/or receptive language disorders, articulation/ phonological disorders, and pragmatic deficits in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, specific language impairment, and other health impairments. Tania emphasizes the importance of collaboration with other professionals and family members, and encourages an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach to achieve successful outcomes.

Danielle Fallon, M.S., CCC-SLP

Danielle Fallon is a New Jersey State licensed and ASHA and school-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Danielle graduated from New York University, where she received both her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Sciences in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Danielle has experience working with toddler to school-aged children in private and public school settings, including specialized schools for students on the autism spectrum. In these settings, Danielle has conducted evaluations and implemented therapy for children presenting with expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and pragmatic deficits. Danielle strives to collaborate with family members and other therapists, as well as incorporating the child's interests and aspects of their daily routines, to promote generalization of skills and achieve the best possible outcomes for each child.

Judy Adornati, M.S., CCC-SLP

Judy Adornati is a New Jersey and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her coursework at Adelphi University and received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience evaluating and treating children and adults with a variety of communication disorders within schools and inpatient settings. Judy enjoys incorporating the child’s interests into therapy sessions to promote speech and language enrichment.  She believes working with parents and other professionals as a team is the best tool to improve the child’s speech and language skills. 

Katie LaBarbera, M.A., CCC-SLP

Katie LaBarbera received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and her Master of Arts (MA) degree from Montclair State University. Katie is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist, licensed in the state of New Jersey.

She has comprehensive pediatric experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient, school, and private practice. In these settings, Katie has conducted evaluations and implemented therapy in areas including: expressive and receptive language delays/disorders, articulation, phonology, stuttering, aural rehabilitation, craniofacial and cleft lip/palate, apraxia, oral motor difficulties, Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive and developmental delays and more! She enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and believes that involving parents/caregivers in therapy helps to support functional communication.

Alyssa LaPlaga, M.S., CCC-SLP

Alyssa LaPlaga is a New Jersey licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association as well as her Speech Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education. Alyssa received her BA in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Iona College and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. Alyssa has over 10 years of experience conducting evaluations and providing therapy to individuals of all ages with various diagnoses and needs.  Alyssa enjoys collaborating with other professionals to provide therapy in a holistic manner.  She provides high-quality services that reflect the needs and interests of each individual by incorporating current research and client/family goals into her therapy approach.  She has a passion for helping her clients improve their speech, language, communication, cognition, and literacy skills. Alyssa continuously seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills by taking continuing education courses. She is PROMPT trained and completed the Comprehensive IMSE Orton-Gillingham Training.

Kelly Brennan, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kelly Brennan is a New Jersey State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds

a Certificate of Clinical Competence. Kelly graduated from Kean University, where she received both her

Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Communication Sciences degrees. She has over 20 years’ experience

working with children in both school and private settings. She also has experience working with toddlers

in the early intervention setting. Kelly believes in working as a team with parents/caregivers and other

professionals in order to maximize the benefits of speech therapy for the client.

Diana Corticeiro, M.S., CF-SLP

Home: About

Diana Corticeiro is a New Jersey state licensed and school-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Diana graduated from Kean University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences. She then graduated from Monmouth University, where she received her Master of Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology. She is a bilingual therapist (English/Portuguese)Diana has experience conducting evaluations and implementing therapy for children presenting with varying communication disorders in school and outpatient settings. She believes collaboration is crucial for therapeutic success.

Nicole Tagerty, M.S., CCC-SLP

Nicole Tagerty is a New Jersey State licensed, ASHA certified, and PROMPT trained Speech-Language Pathologist. Nicole graduated from Misericordia University, where she received both her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Sciences in Communicative Sciences and Disorders.  Nicole has experience working with toddler to school-aged children in early intervention as well as school settings, including specialized programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  She has conducted evaluations and implemented therapy for children presenting with expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and pragmatic deficits.  Nicole believes that collaboration with family members as well as other professionals is key to success.

Alexa Hoppes MSOT, OTR/L

Alexa Hoppes is a New Jersey State licensed and NBCOT certified Occupational Therapist. Alexa graduated from Seton Hall University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Art in Social and Behavioral Science and a minor in Social Work. She continued her studies at Seton Hall University and received her Master’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2018. Alexa has experience working with children aged 3-15 in school settings for the past two and a half years in New Jersey as well as California. In the school setting, Alexa has conducted evaluations and implemented therapy and consult services for children presenting with fine motor, visual, and sensory processing difficulties within the classroom setting. Alexa continues to take continuing education courses to stay current with the latest developments in her field and is looking forward to taking on a new role in a private setting!
